Best Software For Email Marketing And Is Clickfunnels Good To Use?
Hey guys, Chris here from Tribe Fit and I just wanted to answer a question on this video, a very topical question that I get asked quite frequently and it might be one that you've got yourself, and that being what are the best softwares for email marketing and is [inaudible 00:00:15] Click Funnels critical to being a successful online coach, or online trainer. Now I'll answer the first question now. First and foremost guys, don't let software or software complexity or software costs overwhelming you and stop you from moving forward.
Now we've got trainers who have done up to $70,000 per month and have done over like a million dollars in a 12 month period, and they have very little software. Down to not even having an app to train their clients, not even having most basic email software, not really having Click Funnels, whatever it might be, so know that first and foremost. Secondly, are they helpful? Yes they are, but only if they're helping you do what you need right there and then, and these things can be bolted on at any stage. The most critical thing is getting you moving forward, getting you clients and servicing and helping those clients and also getting cashflow in.
So you can invest more time, more funds and more energy into helping more and more people from there. So that's first and foremost the most important thing. Secondly, once you're at the stage, what's the best email marketing software tool? I would recommend to start with something like MailChimp. Why? Because it's free. It covers the basic things you require. What I use in my businesses is a software called Active Campaign. It's great, it's fantastic. It has more advanced automations in it and it's a bit more costly, but it's fantastic for where my business is right now.
But I didn't start with it at day one. And I highly recommend you don't start with in a day one in your business either, until at least you're doing it at least say five to $10,000 a month consistently. You do not need a more advanced email software and you do not need to be paying the amount, putting the energy to build out massive automations or whatever it might be. It's not the critical aspects. MailChimp check that out. Google that, MailChimp. They have a free software. It does a lot of the basic stuff like what's called a welcome series.
So for example, if you get a new client and you want to send them one, two, three, five emails in the ... An email on the first day an email in the first seven days just to check in or whatever it might be, it can do that. If someone fills out a lead form and you want to send them an automated email straight after, it can do that, this is all free. And also allows you to save all your email addresses and you can send out what's called a blast or a broadcast email all for free. So start with that. As you grow, as you build and you need advanced bells and whistles, you can jump up to something like Active Campaign or whatever it might be.
On the other question, Click Funnels, is it important exact same answer. Now there is software out there called LeadPages, Instapage, ClickFunnels. They're all fairly similar. They have different costs, different levels of advancement. Now ClickFunnels are probably one of the most expensive and most advanced, and the most complicated to use and get started with. LeadPages on the other hand, I think that's free from my understanding, I haven't looked at it in a little while, they may have changed and it's very basic and quick to get up and running.
It doesn't do all of the bells and whistles that say ClickFunnels or Instapage does, but it's free and it gets you what you need to start moving forward. And at the same time you don't need a three year university degree to try and work out how to use it. The most important thing is moving forward. Software is complexity and adding all of that stuff to it, is only going to slow you down. When you get to a stage where you need it fantastic. Now do I use Click Funnels right now? Yes I do. Do I recommend that to my trainers who are at least done $5,000 in online clients so far? Yes, I do. Why? Because it's going to allow them to go to that next level.
It has it cost, it has some complexity, it's going to take time to learn and implement, which is why you need to get some clients first, get some cashflow first. And that's the first thing, the most important thing. From there, it's all about optimising and taking up the level advancements so you can scale and automate. And that's where softwares come into. Software is there to help you grow, it is not to be a hindrance to your growth. And a lot of people get that the other way around. So hopefully that makes sense. And hopefully that answered your question. And don't let software be your primary objective, or your primary activity in your business, above and beyond getting clients and helping clients.
