How To Consistently Get More High Paying Online Fitness Clients WITHOUT Needing Any More Followers

Hey guys, Chris Lynton here from TribeFit, and welcome to this video. What I want to do, as you've probably seen in the title of the video, is take you through a tip and a pretty common, I guess, problem, or roadblock, or trap that people fall into when they're looking to grow their online fitness business. And that being, getting into the trap of thinking that you always need more followers, you need more followers, you need more engagement, and that's the only way and the best way to grow online, to get more online clients and get people who reach out to you and want your services and are happy to pay you what you're worth.

Now, first and foremost, having any more followers than you have right now, you don't need any more followers than you have right now. And let me debunk first and foremost the concept that big following equals big income and big client base. Now, I've worked obviously in this space for numerous years, I think coming up to like eight or nine years. Before that I ran a handful of online fitness businesses online, in-person coaching businesses and so on and so forth. And it's a common concept, people think anyone with a big following means that they're killing it.

And the funny thing with social media is social media is a window into someone's life that they want to show you. And when I first started off, I built my online fitness businesses with extremely small following. And when I first started off TribeFit, a couple of people reached out to me who had like 200,000 followers, we had someone that was like 350,000 followers, we had people down like to 20,000 followers, 50,000 followers. But the reason why I'm saying the bigger numbers like 350,000 followers, when they came to me, I was like, "Well, this person has got to be killing it." I even had that concept or thought that that was the reality.

And this lady, amazing lady, really knows her stuff, doing awesome content, loads of followers, so on and so forth, doing motivational quotes, body selfie pics, all this sort of stuff. And she came to us and I was like, "Okay, so how much are you doing in your online fitness business?" And literally she's like, "Well, I work full time in-person, I also have a job working in a supplement store." And in my head I'm like, "That doesn't make sense, you've got to be doing all right online." And I'm like, "Okay, so how much do you do online?" And she was like, "Oh, maybe 200 or $300 a month." And this was like six years ago, and that was my first experience in realising that big following doesn't necessarily equal big client and big income.

And if you were to see this person, and after that I'm talking tens, 20s, 30s, 50s, hundreds of those examples have come through. And if you were to see these people, you'd think they've got nice cars, they go on holidays, they do this, they do that, or nice clothes, whatever it might be, and you think they're killing it. And unfortunately, like I said, it's a window into someone's life that they want to show you. And I've been contacted and I've worked with people who you see and you go, "Oh, they've got nice designer clothes, they've got this, they've got that." And it's not until they told me that, "I go and get those clothes, I keep the tags on the clothes, I take the photos with the clothes and then I return them because I can't afford them."

They have this want and need or feel that they need to convey this, killing it, crushing it lifestyle, but in actual fact, they're working in a retail store and struggling to make meets end. And what that did is it confused the whole market thinking, "All right, these people are killing it. They look like they're killing it, so I must need lots of followers like them." And it doesn't make sense.

But let me explain it to you. This one person that just usually rings home 350,000 followers, and we're like, this can't be true that you've got like one or two clients and that's it from 350,000 followers. And it wasn't until we looked into it, and this was like I said, a lovely lady. We checked her stats and we're like, "This doesn't make sense. You've got lots of engagement," so on and so forth. And it wasn't until we looked at the gender split, and she had, I think like 95% of her followers were males based in India between age of X and Y. And as soon as we saw that we're like, "Ah, it makes total sense." Because she's a woman trying to help other women get stronger, get fitter. And this massive following are Indian males who are obviously not going to ever be her prospect or a client.

And that's just an example, that's just an example. A lot of people have big followings, but they don't have followings of people who are interested in their services or are their target ideal clients. And that's just the way it works. That's the way organic growth works, that's the way all of that works. And so you've probably experienced this yourself, whether you've got 50 followers, you got 500 followers. I spoke to someone the other day said, "I've got hardly any followers. I had 1,000 followers." And look, I would call that a big following.

And you've probably experienced it yourself however many of you have. You might have say 1,000 followers and you get a handful of likes. You put out a post and say, "Hey, DM if you'd like to get my help," or whatever it might be, and you hear crickets, literally the ghost town. Because no one that follows you actually is interested in your services, because you don't know how to get people excited about your offer, you don't know how to put together an irresistible marketing message that makes people want to chase you and really chase after you and say, "Hey, I want what you got. I've got my credit card and my head ready to go."

And thirdly, people feel like just followers is what's important. But in actual fact, there's only two things that are important. You've got to have your irresistible marketing message and you've got to be able to get that message in front of people who are your ideal prospects. And you do not need a big following to do that, there is numerous ways to do that. And basically, like I said, it is a trap, this constant need or want or feeling of need to get more followers, get more followers, do more posts, motivational quotes, pictures in the gym, whatever it might be. And when you get into that trap, you get no results, you get no clients and you get frustrated because you're doing all this work and it's not giving you any results. And there's nothing more frustrating than being busy and working hard and still going backwards, and still not having enough clients and still losing clients and thinking, "How am I going to replace them?" Or whatever it might be and you're working really, really hard. It's like you're focusing on the wrong things.

And if I can convey anything in this video, it is to stop focusing on trying to grow your following and start focusing on how to get a system that delivers you high paying, highly motivated clients that gets high paying, highly motivated people that are in your target market. The people you want, getting them chasing you, literally getting them messaging you, saying, "Hey, how can I get started? I've got my credit card ready." Not "Hey, what's your prices? Hey, what do you do? Hey, can you send me some information?" That's a tyre kicker, that's not a person hungry and chasing, because they probably sent that out to 50 other people that day and they won't come back to you. And no matter what your prices are they'll say, "Oh, that's too expensive."

And once again, you've probably all experienced this. And that's not what we're looking for, that's not what gets you freedom, that's not what gets you financial freedom, and it's not what gets you time freedom. Because you have to chase people 24/7 rather than getting them to chase you, that's the place you want to be. So, as I mentioned, irresistible message in a way to get that message, drop that message in front of the eyeballs of people who are hungry for what you do, that's all you need, and you will have an unlimited, consistent stream of high ticket clients coming through whenever you want. That is it and you will see literally how you can go from being busy 24/7, getting no results to having a lot of free time and being full up with clients and literally having a waiting list of clients sitting there waiting to work with you when you want to take more clients on board.

And it sounds counterintuitive, but if you can understand the concept that I've just taken you through, getting busy and spending all day doing stuff that doesn't work versus spending a small portion of time on stuff that does work, you can see how you can get results above the norm in much less time and much less effort and much less energy. Hopefully that makes sense. Now, if you have any questions far away, hopefully what we've gone through today makes sense, hopefully it saves some of you who are in that trap to get out of that trap, and hopefully it gives some of you the clarity of what to do today and what to do tomorrow, what to do next week to start getting the results that you you want and you deserve.

Ultimately, it's about getting great clients who pay you what you're worth, giving them a phenomenal service, getting them great results and the wheel goes around. You get great results for people, they're happy to pay the prices that you deserve, they want to stick around long-term, they give you testimonials, they give you referrals. You have this other system that generates more clients whenever you need and the circle goes around. You have more impact you help change more people's lives of the people who actually motivated and implement what you tell them to do so they'll get results, of course, and you'll have more income as a result of that.

And there's nothing better than helping people having massive impact and having that time to getting what you're worth at the same time, because you're helping the world in a positive way, but you're also helping yourself in a positive way in the same aspect. And that's the perfect circle, doing what you love, impacting people and earning what you want as a result of all the good stuff that you're doing.
